Therapy as a real relationship.

Good therapy is a relationship that gets to deepen over time. A therapist who learns your patterns, your history, your relationships, and the things you're still figuring out. That kind of work takes consistency and time, and it's harder when starting over keeps interrupting the process.

Therapy in Florida is delivered by a licensed Florida clinician for adults and couples. Sessions are virtual, available anywhere in the state, and built around continuity. You work with the same therapist, week after week, for as long as the work is helpful.

Care that travels with you.

Florida has a significant population of clients who split their time between states, whether for work, family, weather, or retirement. That mobility can create real friction with care. A therapy relationship gets interrupted every time you leave the state, and starting over with a new provider in the next state slows the work.

Working with a clinician licensed in multiple states removes that friction. Your therapist is licensed in Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, and Colorado. If your work or your life takes you between any of those states, your sessions continue uninterrupted. The relationship and the work stay intact.

Questions from Florida Clients

What happens in a first session?
The first session is a conversation. Your therapist will introduce themselves, ask what brought you in, and listen carefully. You don't need to come prepared with a topic or a problem to name. The first session is about getting to know each other and starting to map what you want from therapy.
Is your therapist licensed in Florida?
Yes. Sessions are with a clinician licensed through Florida's Department of Health, 491 Board (Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling). Anyone can verify a Florida clinician's license through the Department of Health MQA Search.
How does insurance billing work in Florida?
Sessions are billed directly to your insurance the same way an in-person Florida visit would be billed. Plans accepted include BlueCross BlueShield of Florida, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, TRICARE, Cigna, and Optum. Your specific benefits are verified before your first session so your costs are clear ahead of time.
Can sessions continue if you travel outside Florida?
If your travel takes you to Oklahoma, Texas, or Colorado, yes. Your therapist is licensed in all four states, and you can continue sessions seamlessly as long as you're physically located in a state where they hold a license at the time of session.
Do you offer evaluations in Florida?
Clinical evaluations are available for adults navigating questions around ADHD, autism, and other mental health concerns. Florida law reserves the term "psychological evaluation" for licensed psychologists. Clinical evaluations are appropriate for most personal, employer, and accommodation purposes. If a formal psychological evaluation is specifically required, you'll be referred to the right provider.
